A PrEP Counselor is available to assist HIV negative Gay and Bi-Sexual men who may feel they are at high risk for HIV infection. Pre-exposure prophylaxis, or PrEP, is an HIV prevention method in which people who do not have HIV infection take a pill daily to reduce their risk of becoming infected. The PrEP Counselor can provide assistance finding a prescribing physician, medication assistance programs, PrEP adherence and question related to PrEP treatment. Everyone who meets with the PrEP Counselor is provide a one on one assessment and individualized care plan.
