HIV Rapid Testing is one of the high-impact prevention services offered through PRN. Rapid HIV Testing is a free, confidential service. Results are provided in 20 minutes. Rapid Testing clients receive this service by trained counselors that provide individual, client-focused risk reduction and counselling. Clients who receive a positive test result through a second confirmatory test are provided post-test counselling and assistance with immediate access to medical care and treatment services. PRN staff work in collaboration with providers throughout NJ to ensure clients receive the most comprehensive services available.
HIV testing is available 8:30 to 4:30 Monday through Friday with extended hours on Tuesday until 6:30pm at our office located at 816 Sunset Ave (the Old Train Station ) in Asbury Park, or on our Mobile Rapid Testing Unit traveling throughout Monmouth County and Northern Ocean County.
